From his early days as a child in Kentwood, LA., a small town that's best known
as the birthplace of singer Britney Spears, all the neighbors could tell that
Freddie Rick wasn't the average kid. While the other children in town spent
their spare time at the swimming pool, Freddie Rick was developing the sort of
entrepreneurial spirit that eventually led to the creation of BetterTrades.
Freddie's future may have been set when he was 5. That's when he won a transistor
radio for selling the most candy in a Rotary Club contest. From there he built a
cart and sold boiled peanuts by the side of the road, a business that ended when
a tree fell on the business. He operated a snow cone stand. He created a machine
to slice potatoes.
Freddie Rick's journey toward founding BetterTrades began when he entered the U.S.
Marine Corp upon graduating from high school. Freddie rose to the rank of sergeant
and had been chosen to attend a special leadership academy, but decided to accept
an honorable discharge and enter private business.
Next, Freddie Rick settled in the San Diego area and soon became involved with
network marketing. Because of his ability to communicate on stage and his
gregarious nature, Freddie rose to the top of several different organizations. He
became the No. 1 income producer for each company and soon had amassed a personal
fortune.
A series of personal setbacks cost Freddie Rick his wealth and he had to start over.
Freddie and his soon-to-be-wife Mitzi began the process of regaining his wealth
through using the stock market. Freddie read all the material he could find on
stock market investing and began working his way back. Through trial-and-error,
Freddie began regaining his financial football. Before long he was back on top.
Because of his desire to help other people, Freddie Rick put the material he learned
from personal experience together as an education product. That's how BetterTrades
was formed in 2001. Since then Freddie Rick's stock market education product has
helped thousands of people make better trades and reach financial freedom.
In 2008, Freddie Rick formed CodeReady Solutions, an IT firm under the umbrella of
Long Term - Short Term, Inc. Freddie Rick was recently profiled in the
Gwinnett Business
Journal for his entrepreneurial spirit.
The values expressed by BetterTrades founder
Freddie Rick are evident in everything he's accomplished. Starting with his
military service, Freddie has been
devoted to being the best. His
community involvement and his
investment strategy have been grounded in his determination to provide help and
hope. His trading strategy has been
honed and shaped over the years to reflect his feelings and desires.
