Freddie Rick, the founder and president of BetterTrades, has been a high achiever since his childhood. He's always been a goal-driven individual who always wants to reach the top of the pile. Such a driven personality has helped him earn several honors and awards during his career.
In the U.S. Marine Corps, Freddie Rick rose through the ranks from a private to a sergeant through his diligence and a series of merit promotions. He was nominated to attend a special leadership school; this would have allowed him to complete his college education, but would have required further military service. After thinking about his options, Freddie decided to leave the military and go into business.
