Odd Lot A part of a stock that is less than the normal unit of trading
Open Order An order to buy or sell a stock that is open, until it is cancelled
Over-The-Counter (OTC) A security that is not traded on an exchange, usually because it is not able to meet listing requirements
Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board An electronic trading serverice offered by the NASD that lists securities usually considered high risk
Outstanding Shares Number of shares owned by investors
Omnibus Account An account between two brokers. It involves the transaction of individual accounts which are combined in this type of account, which allows for easier management by the broker.
Open Interest Total number of options or futures contracts that were not closed or delivered.
Option A privilege sold by one party to another that gives the buyer the right to buy or sell a security at an agreed-upon price at a specified time
Option chain A way of quoting options prices through a list of all of the options for a given security.
Options Contract Options are sold in contracts each equal to 100 shares.
